Lawn Care

Winter

Now is the time to deal with lawn weeds. While using a special tool to dig out the larger ones the best way to deal with the large number of smaller seedling weeds such as Lawn Daisy, Plantain and Capeweed it is necessary to spray with a special lawn weeder product. Do not spray within four days either side of mowing and use again after 4 weeks, if some weeds are not dead, If there is a heavy infestation of Clover be sure to select a product which is capable of killing that weed. Fill in and reseed any bare patches.

Wait until August before applying the Spring dose of fertiliser. ‘Sudden Impact for Lawns’ is an organic example and watering after application with Popul 8 usually gives exceptional results
