Community Garden Project

The Warragul & District Garden Club has begun to reach out to those people that are unable to attend our regular Garden Club meetings. In particular we are hoping to assist members of a younger generation who wish to become involved in gardening for a number of reasons.

More and more people are interested in growing their own vegetables but research has shown that gardening can play a major role in mental health, helping to overcome stress and depression.

Community Garden Members gather together on Tuesdays and work together to produce both vegetables and some flowers. The Garden Club assists them by purchasing seeds and fertilisers.
