The Garden at Broughton Hall

he garden at Broughton Hall is now in 2025; 29 years old. The banks, lawns, paths, steps and garden beds were designed and constructed in 1996. Since then it has been the variety of plants, the density of planting and the original, eclectic nature of the planting scheme that has evolved to become a major feature of this garden.

Now in its twenty-eigth year, the design remains strong and impressive. The planting, original and varied, and the setting, breathtaking. This is a garden to spend time in, slowly moving from one area to another, sitting in every seat, observing, contemplating and relaxing, feeling the integrity with which it was created and appreciating the beauty that The Garden at Broughton Hall offers every visitor.
